Gemini credits for startups are not a standalone offer, they are delivered through the Google for Startups Cloud Program. AI-first startups that use Gemini or the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform as the foundation of their product can receive up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits over two years: year one covers 100% of eligible usage up to $250,000, and year two covers 20% of usage up to a further $100,000. Startups at the same stage that are not AI-first get up to $200,000, and pre-funded founders can self-serve a $2,000 tier for an MVP. Credits cover Google's own models including Gemini and Gemma, while third-party models are billed directly and are not covered.

AI-first startups can receive up to $350,000 over two years, paid as 100% of spend up to $250,000 in year one and 20% up to a further $100,000 in year two. Startups on the same tier that are not AI-first get up to $200,000, and pre-funded founders without venture backing get $2,000. Google runs the program directly rather than through a reseller or accelerator, and the top tier requires venture funding from pre-seed through Series A.

Amazon Bedrock credits are not a standalone program. They come from AWS Activate, whose Portfolio tier gives pre-Series B startups up to $200,000 in AWS credits that are redeemable on Bedrock, including third-party models from AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, Mistral AI and Stability AI. Self-funded founders with no VC or accelerator link get the Activate Founders tier instead, which starts at $1,000 and goes up to $5,000. AI startups that outgrow Portfolio can be invited into AWS Credits for AI Startups at $200,000 and above.
